Raziel Amed Argueta, Managing Partner

Raziel Argueta is a skilled and passionate attorney dedicated to guiding clients through the complexities of immigration law. Raised in Phoenix, Arizona, Raziel draws inspiration from his family’s journey as immigrants fleeing Guatemala during the civil war, shaping his commitment to keeping families together in the United States.

Raziel graduated from Northern Arizona University in 2016 and earned his Juris Doctor from Drake University Law School in 2018. During law school, he gained valuable courtroom experience through the Criminal Defense Clinic and Advanced Criminal Defense Clinic, representing clients charged with misdemeanors and Class "D" felonies.

With years of experience in immigration law, Raziel has achieved notable victories in some of the most challenging cases. He successfully defended a client wrongfully accused by USCIS of making a false claim to U.S. citizenship—a charge often considered fatal in immigration cases—and secured her green card. Raziel has obtained approved waivers for clients accused of alien smuggling, prior removal orders, unlawful presence, and false claims to U.S. citizenship. He has also won asylum cases in one of the most difficult regions (Omaha) of the United States, demonstrating his exceptional advocacy and deep understanding of immigration law.

In addition to his success before USCIS, Raziel has persuaded Immigration Judges to reopen deportation cases and rescind prior removal orders by proving improper service of Notices to Appear (NTA) or lack of notice altogether. He is particularly experienced in handling complex cases that involve the intersection of immigration and criminal law.

As a native Spanish speaker, Raziel connects with his clients on a personal level, understanding their legal challenges from a shared perspective. His dedication to his clients goes beyond the courtroom, as he relentlessly fights to protect their rights and reunite families.

Outside of his legal practice, Raziel proudly serves as an officer in the Iowa National Guard’s 1-194th Field Artillery “Thunder” Battalion. With over four years of service, he brings the same discipline, integrity, and leadership to his legal work that he does to his role as a soldier.

Whether it’s representing clients before Immigration Courts, USCIS, or the Board of Immigration Appeals, Raziel is committed to delivering exceptional results and standing as a fierce advocate for those navigating the immigration system.
